

Veronica Dingle has been working as a Registered Nurse since 1982 mainly in the public hospital system. She has also taught at TAFE NSW for twelve years in Business Administration, Financial Administration and Medical Administration. She also has a Diploma in Business Administration.
In January 2009, Veronica started working as a Practice Nurse in a GP Practice in the Hawkesbury area and developed a passion for diabetes education and management. She completed the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education & Management at UTS in 2012, and, achieved Credentialing Status with ADEA in 2014. She has been actively involved in diabetes education since 2011.
Individual consultations are available for a range of diabetes issues including:
Ongoing support and education for day to day management of diabetes (Type 1, Type 2)
Newly diagnosed Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and NDSS Registration
Teaching blood sugar monitoring and issue of free glucometers
Glucometers for titration of insulin injections for better blood sugar control
Healthy eating for diabetes and weight management (should see Dietitian as well)
Registration with NDSS and other associated forms
Realistic regular exercise options
Lifestyle changes to improve long term health and prevent diabetes complications
Impaired Fasting Glucose and Impaired Glucose Tolerance
Training to become a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer
Continuous glucose monitoring (possible cost depending on patient circumstances)
